We can never go back

This post is edited because belledame222 made good points in the comments. I won't delete it entirely so the comments can remain online. My original post will stand on its own.

I know and respect a lot of people who engage in civil disobedience. They openly break the law for a higher purpose. They do not deny breaking the law: they actually turn themselves in to authority. They go to jail or prison. And then they fight their battles in court. Sometimes they even win.

If you want to own all this self-righteousness, then stand up for yourself and your beliefs and turn yourself in to the moderaters at Genderburg forums.

Otherwise, all this grandstanding while hiding behind an alias sounds pretty much like high school note-passing. I didn't like it then and I don't like it now.

Agreed. What do you gain by remaining there?

mhm. it's getting a bit Wagnerian here, don't you think?

and dude, "terrorists" is really loaded. if you really know of some sort of illegal activity going on or being planned, as trin said, that is different; if not, that's really not accurate or helpful. horrible, yes. hateful, yes. blackmailing and thus deeply unethical, in at least one case, yes. having distinctly cultlike overtones, yes--but, whoever you are, this... kind of isn't really helping the credibility thing, i gotta say.

Thanks for removing this post.

Because I've been the most adamant, let me say I don't want to minimize your feelings of betrayal. You went into the forums expecting one thing and got another. It happens sometimes and that sucks.

The problem is, nobody with a brain is going to judge all of Genderburg based on a few quotes taken out of context. Rather than making them look bad, you are making yourself look petty, no matter what you intended. Again, that sucks.

You have other avenues for dealing with your feelings of anger and frustration and I sincerely hope you find your way.

But please stop this blog. It isn't helping.
